A Visit from St Nicholas - Abridged and Tastefully Altered Podtburg Circle Style

‘Twas the night before Christmas, at the Jaksha house
Mamma was still stirring; she just might be a little soused;
The stockings are missing their bells but packed nice and tight,
Everyone is hoping Santa will come through as promised tonight;
The two little red-heads were protesting bedtime with duress;
Some days they're pretty naughty but still
Dad had a scooter and Thomas the Train to address…
And Grandma in her robe, was getting ready for a nice long rest,
For tomorrow she will toil all day to whip up some of the best;
For a house full of mayhem, love, hope and delect-ables;
We will eat, drink be merry and play the kinect-its secretly detectable;
Here’s to you and yours this season, if you’re lucky the night is white;
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Nicely paraphrased! Podtburg Circle style works for me(wishing I could get a little soused - I am painfully responsible!)

Happy New Year! Barbara
